About the role

Lakeshore Talent is searching for a Regional Vice President — Operations for one of our clients in Denver. We’re looking for a proven multi-unit operations leader who knows how to drive performance, develop field leaders, and stay close enough to the operation to understand why the numbers are moving. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for approximately 50 locations, five District Managers, and a geographically dispersed workforce of 200+ employees. We’re looking for someone who brings an uncommon combination of grit, operational discipline, and executive-level business acumen — someone equally comfortable discussing financial performance with senior leadership and walking into a service center to work alongside frontline employees.
📍 Location: Colorado-based🗺️ Territory: Colorado, Utah, Washington & Nebraska💰 Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000🎯 Annual Incentive: Up to 25%✈️ Travel: Approximately 50–75%What You’ll DoDrive Regional Performance Own regional performance across revenue, profitability, labor, staffing, customer experience, safety, and operational execution. Use location- and district-level data to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and partner with District Managers to develop and execute measurable improvement plans. Drive growth in customer traffic, retention, revenue, and overall location performance while ensuring a consistent customer experience. Develop Strong Field Leaders Lead, coach, and develop five experienced District Managers. Set clear expectations, build accountability, address performance issues directly and constructively, and identify high-potential talent for future leadership opportunities. You’ll hold leaders accountable while building trust, credibility, and strong working relationships. Stay Close to the Field This is not a desk-bound leadership role. You’ll spend meaningful time in the field visiting service centers, conducting operational reviews, meeting with leaders, and engaging directly with frontline teams. You’ll work alongside District Managers to understand what is happening in the operation, identify barriers, and implement practical solutions. Partner Across the Organization Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and other corporate partners to address field needs and support sustainable growth. Communicate regional priorities, performance trends, operational challenges, and resource needs to senior leadership while ensuring regional decisions align with broader organizational goals.
What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of progressive multi-unit operations leadership experience Experience overseeing multiple locations across a broad geographic territory Experience leading 200+ employees through a layered leadership structure Direct experience managing and developing five or more District Managers or comparable operational leaders Significant experience leading an hourly/frontline workforce Financial responsibility for a multi-location portfolio, preferably $10M+ in annual revenue Demonstrated ownership of sales, labor, expenses, productivity, and profitability Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to turn data into clear priorities and action Proven ability to identify performance gaps, determine root causes, and implement measurable improvement plans Strong coaching, succession planning, and performance management skills Ability to build credibility and communicate effectively at every level Sound judgment, resilience, and composure when navigating complex operational and employee situations Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50–75%, including overnight travel We’re Looking for a Turnaround-Minded Operator The ideal candidate has a track record of operational discipline, performance improvement, and measurable results. Able to give examples of the following: Locations that were underperforming when you inherited them The operational problems you diagnosed The KPIs you used to identify the root cause The corrective actions you implemented How you improved labor productivity, staffing, scheduling, expenses, and execution How you established District Manager accountability How quickly performance changed The measurable results you delivered in sales, profitability, labor, expenses, customer experience, or other key metrics We want someone who understands that knowing the numbers isn’t enough. You need to know why the numbers are off and what you’re going to do about it. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, field-oriented operator who stays connected to day-to-day center operations, engages with frontline employees, understands customer needs, and relentlessly drives accountability and execution.
Preferred Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered Multi-unit leadership experience in automotive services, retail, restaurants, hospitality, or another high-volume, customer-facing environment Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, new location openings, leadership transitions, or rapidly growing field operations Experience leading a distributed frontline workforce while driving revenue, customer experience, labor performance, and operational excellence What Success Looks Like✅ The region consistently achieves its goals for sales, profitability, labor, staffing, safety, customer experience, and operational execution.✅ District Managers understand expectations, own their results, and continue developing as business leaders.✅ Performance concerns are identified early and addressed with clear, sustainable action plans.✅ High-potential employees are actively developed and succession pipelines become stronger.✅ Operating standards and customer experience expectations are consistently executed across the region.✅ Regional priorities and resource decisions support long-term growth and profitability.
