An organization is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Newark, New Jersey to provide ambulatory primary care within a Department of Medicine setting. This role focuses on patient care in a full-time weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.
About the Opportunity
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 40 hours/week Setting: Primary Care / Ambulatory
Responsibilities:
Provide internal medicine care for adult patients in an ambulatory setting Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of primary care and medical conditions Maintain a patient volume of approximately 18 to 22 patients per day Document patient encounters and manage care plans in Epic Coordinate care with other providers and support continuity of care within the department
Qualifications:
Board certification in Internal Medicine Experience providing ambulatory or primary care in an outpatient setting Ability to manage a weekday full-time patient schedule
Desired Skills: Experience using Epic Familiarity with department of medicine workflows
