Schedule: 34.5 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience 1 year of travel experience preferred (required for travel positions)
- Active New York State RN LicenseBLS Certification required
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)

Unit: 6W Medicine Unit
Average Daily Census: 22 Patients29-bed Medical UnitNurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease prevention. Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR .Participate in bedside shift reports, purposeful hourly rounding, and quality improvement initiatives. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and support patient throughput.
