Job Description: Sennebogen Material Handler / Heavy Equipment Operator
Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–4:00 PMSaturday: 7:00 AM–12:00 PMJob Description
We are currently seeking a Sennebogen Material Handler / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating heavy machinery and be comfortable working in an industrial or scrap/material-handling environment. This position will involve operating a Sennebogen material handler equipped with a grapple to safely and efficiently move, sort, load, and organize materials.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Sennebogen material handler safely and efficiently
- Use a grapple attachment to pick up and move materials
- Load, unload, sort, and organize materials
- Safely maneuver equipment around the facility and material piles
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Follow all company safety rules and operating procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience
- Experience operating a Sennebogen, excavator, loader, crane, or similar equipment is a plus
- Experience using grapple attachments is but not required
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and responsibly
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors and in an industrial environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pay & Experience:
Starting pay is $18.00–$19.00 per hour, with the opportunity to negotiate based on experience operating heavy machinery. Candidates with strong equipment-operating experience are encouraged to apply!
