Field Service Technician

Position Summary: MFT is seeking a hands-on Integration/Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and support custom automation and material handling equipment at customer sites. This role includes domestic and international travel up to approximately 50% and requires strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills. When not traveling, the technician will work onsite with MFT’s Integration and Engineering teams to build, test, validate, and prepare equipment for shipment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.· Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience.· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.· Experience with industrial machinery, automation equipment, conveyors, sensors, motors, pneumatics, or similar systems.· Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.· Comfortable using hand tools, test equipment, and diagnostic tools.· Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.· Ability to work independently while traveling and collaborate effectively with internal teams.· Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 50%.· Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
