Registered Behavior Technician - Bear, DEA rewarding opportunity awaits for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support elementary-aged students within an autism program. This contract position is located near Bear, DE, within a supportive educational setting that values collaboration and student growth. Full-time hours are required, with a consistent schedule and no part-time options or flexibility for arrival or departure times.
What You’ll Need:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Active Delaware PARA Permit Experience supporting students in schools, especially at the elementary level Confidence in implementing physical intervention strategies when necessary Strong skills in collecting and reporting behavioral and instructional data in classroom environments Willingness to participate in all aspects of student support, including toileting, diapering, and hygiene assistance Ability to adapt to changing classroom assignments as needed Commitment to working onsite for the entire scheduled day (8:45 AM - 4:15 PM EST)Reliable transportation to and from the site
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate behavioral support to students with autism Collect and document behavioral and instructional data daily Implement intervention strategies as required Collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and administration Provide essential assistance with personal care and hygiene routines Adapt support based on evolving district needs and assignments This position offers the chance to make a real difference in students’ lives by creating positive, supportive learning environments.
