About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Learning and Impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization's program evaluation function, with a focus on ensuring the effectiveness of its work in developing leaders for K-12 public education. This senior leadership role requires a deep commitment to the values of the organization, including a drive for excellence for every student, a service-oriented approach, and a belief in the potential of all individuals. The role involves developing and leading the overall strategy for the Learning and Impact team, implementing and evolving the evaluation and measurement framework, and leading a high-performing team of senior analysts. The Managing Director will also serve as a key member of the program leadership team, contributing to the organization's mission and representing the company with external stakeholders. Candidates for this role should have an advanced degree in a relevant field, strong knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, and experience in leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in education, public policy, applied or quantitative social science, or a related field, and a deep familiarity with school accountability systems and student achievement data. A highly collaborative work style, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential. The role also requires the ability to operate at the executive level, framing complex technical work in a way that is accessible and builds trust. Experience in management consulting or a similar field, as well as a strong network of data and measurement experts, are considered a plus.
