Position Overview:
Sunrise Haven Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a positive, trusting relationship with patients, enabling open communication and effective therapeutic engagement.
Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders, using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs, circumstances, and goals of each patient.
Facilitate various therapeutic sessions, including individual, group, and family therapy, employing an array of evidence-based interventions.
Regularly monitor patient progress, reassess treatment strategies, and make necessary adjustments to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to specialists or additional resources as needed, ensuring comprehensive care.
Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient population includes a wide array of individuals seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. You will provide care to clients from diverse backgrounds, employing cultural competence to address varying needs and facilitate their journey toward mental wellness.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California.
A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
Proficiency in providing individual and group therapy; experience in telehealth delivery is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a dynamic caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a remote counseling role and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
Experience in diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
Expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies.
Compensation and Benefits:
