Forklift Operator - Princeton

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate a forklift to move and transport materials throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks, trailers, rail cars, and designated storage areas as needed. Properly stage and organize materials and products. Inspect forklift and equipment before operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Safely maneuver equipment in areas with other employees, machinery, and materials. Assist with general material handling and warehouse/production duties. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of recent forklift operating experience required. Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or similar environment preferred. Experience operating overhead cranes is preferred but not required. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Ability to safely operate equipment in a busy industrial environment. Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform material handling duties throughout the workday. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform other physical tasks as required. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent forklift operating experience to be considered. Overhead crane and heavy equipment experience will be considered a strong plus.
