Material HandlerThis is a critical role at one of the fastest-growing pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in the US, offering strong career advancement potential. Day shift or night shift available. 12 hour shifts, 6am-6 pm and 6pm-6am.About the Role:As a CBRE Material Handler, you'll provide service and support to the warehouse by handling shipping and receiving tasks. This job is part of the Supply Chain function. They are responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.What You'll Do:Operate standing forklift, loading and unloading delicate high dollar finished goods on pallets requiring extreme care in handling. No impacts to the pallet or contents.Assist with loading and unloading merchandise or material from trucks.Help pack and unpack shipments. This includes processing, scanning, and shelving parts, pulling orders, and entering data into the inventory control systems.Maintain clean and safe working environments. Sweep floors.Maintain upkeep of stockroom and other storage areas and merge existing stock to improve space usage.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.What You'll Need:High School Diploma or GED with 5 years years of job-related experience.Must have 5 years highly trained forklift experience, forklift certification strongly preferred.Must have Pharmaceutical or similar high dollar regulated product experience.Must have GMP experience, strongly prefer GDP (good documentation practices)Physical requirements to include stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs.Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Communication skills to exchange straightforward knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.Basic math skills.
