CICD Test Automation Engineer (CLT / JC)

Location: Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ

Work arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Duration: 18-month contract

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and enhance end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. Write and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate deployment and patching workflows. Develop automated tests using Playwright and other testing frameworks, including validation following patching and deployments. Support applications running on OpenShift or Kubernetes, as well as Windows and RHEL virtual machines. Develop test scripts for applications with React front ends and Java backend services. Help standardize deployment patterns that support high availability and resiliency. Document workflows and collaborate across teams to improve delivery processes.

Required Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on Playwright experience developing automated tests. Ability to independently write, troubleshoot, and maintain Ansible playbooks. Experience automating testing and deployment processes. Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or both. Familiarity with Windows and RHEL environments. Understanding of React applications and Java backend services sufficient to develop effective test scripts. Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Additional Relevant ExperienceCI/CD tools such as Jenkins, XLR, and Datical. Cucumber and other UI test automation frameworks. Python scripting. SQL and databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Hybrid deployment environments combining virtual machines and containers. Regulated enterprise environments. Full-stack development using React and Java. AI-driven software delivery, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, LLM applications, and agent orchestration. This role requires onsite attendance 3 days per week in Charlotte or Jersey City. Fully remote work is not available.
