Vet Assistant/CSRMy Pet's Vet is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Vet Assistant with growth opportunities at our San Antonio, Texas Animal Hospital. Join us in upholding and preserving our company's motto "Healthy Pets and Happy Parents!"Your basic duties as a CSR are: Greeting Clients Answering Phones Differentiating Between Routine and Emergency Cases Scheduling Appointments Admitting and Checking Out Patients Processing Payments Communicating Information Between the Clients and Our StaffYour basic duties as a Vet Assistant are: Take great care of our patients Restraint of patients during procedures Cleaning kennels, exam rooms and treatment tables Run and set up lab tests Set up and clean up before/after surgery Unload inventory Assists in taking digital x-rays Work closely in support of our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors

Experience using multiple-line telephone systems. Excellent animal-handling skills Ability to properly restrain patients Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision. Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. A commitment to outstanding client service. Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
