Merchandise Planner

Location: New York City (Central)

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team based in New York, USA. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in inventory management, forecasting and planning.

Responsibilities: Responsible for inventory management including stock levels, replenishment and inventory checks with full understanding, maintenance, and management of own WSSI.Working strategically to deliver KPI’s including - sell-through rates, GMROI, stock turnover, sales per square foot, markdown and sales strategies. Produce accurate sales forecasts identifying key trends or opportunities for growth. Management of the critical path. Coordinating between the Design and Production teams ensuring effective communication and ensuring the key delivery schedule is met. Develop and implement comprehensive product assortment plans that align with company objectives and market demand. Execute price setting and perform detailed margin analysis to understand product profitability and identify opportunities for margin improvement. Identify and raise PO’s in-line with the buying and delivery schedule Identify trade opportunities and take appropriate action.
