Primary Enterprises LLC is an established electrical contracting company that has serves the needs of commercial and industrial clients. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team of professionals in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in English. Spanish a plus.· At least 10 years of documented experience as a commercial electrician.· Solid working knowledge of commercial and electrical systems.· Ability to work independently, with no supervision.· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.· Hardworking and a team player with a desire to continually learn and improve their skill-set.· Ability to carry heavy tools.· Being reliable and on-time.· Having basic electrician tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary installations and maintenance with minor supervision· Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner· Follow specifications on blueprints/diagrams/technical drawings for installations· Conduct all repairs and installations according to code· Utilize all safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and guidelines· Maintain a neat and organized work environment· Maintain a stock of common materials in your service vehicle· Ensure that all tools and equipment are functioning properly
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical distribution equipment and light fixtures
- Install various types of raceways and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and lighting control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the electrical construction industry
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Good references
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
