Job Description:
SUMMARY: Under the direction of a supervisor/manager, provides assembly support in building Surface Mount SMT circuit boards and small electromechanical assemblies.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reads and follows work instructions, assembly drawings, and parts lists.• Performs work as assigned• Able to use basic hand tools and soldering tools.• Maintains a clean and safe work area• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience related to soldering Surface Mount electronic components.• Experience with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 workmanship standards preferred.• Ability to interpret all documentation, work instructions, and customer-supplied drawings.• Ability to communicate with supervisor/manager and follow written and verbal instructions.
