Summary:
Design Engineers contribute to the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects. Design Engineers work collaboratively with project teams, applying engineering principles to deliver high-quality solutions. They are expected to grow in their ability to manage tasks, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the firm's technical excellence.
Essential Functions:
include the following.# Lead design efforts and oversee junior engineers.# Independent decision making# Communicate regularly with clients and vendors outside the office# Participate in presentations such as public meetings. Qualifications~5+ years of design experience~ Advanced design leadership~ Professional Engineering (PE) Registration preferred~ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.~ Proficiency in software such as CADD Based programs and systems, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.~ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
