Job Summary: Performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
Major Duties: Troubleshoot vehicle and equipment operation problems and make repairs. Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to standard schedules. Adjust, repair, or replace parts and equipment. Attend safety meetings and classes. Maintain tools and equipment and keep a safe, tidy shop. Weld and fabricate parts as needed. Perform related duties as assigned. Complexity The work involves routine vehicle and equipment maintenance with a variety of equipment, contributing to the complexity of the position. Success in this role supports the efficiency and effectiveness of company operations.
Requirements: Knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation and maintenance principles. Knowledge of vehicle and equipment diagnostics and repair principles. Skills in the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in welding. Skill in troubleshooting and identifying problems and devising solutions.
