Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Part Time, Days This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients ranging in age from ne competencies following established standards and practices. Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
None PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or currently eligible for state board certification. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified Post Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certified GI Lab SGNA Board eligible/certified REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS - required for all areas-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network ACLS required for all areas in Surgery Services and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit PALS- required for Post Anesthesia and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX Job ID 2603018723.
