About the role

A Business Consulting Trainee supports senior consultants and project teams in analyzing business problems, developing strategic recommendations, and assisting with implementation activities. This entrylevel role is designed for individuals looking to build foundational consulting skills in problemsolving, data analysis, client communication, and project management. Key Responsibilities 1. Research & Analysis Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking. Gather, clean, and interpret internal and external data to identify trends and insights. Support the development of business cases, financial models, and analytical reports. 2. Project Support Assist consultants in planning and executing client engagements. Prepare slides, documentation, and deliverables for project meetings. Coordinate tasks, timelines, and status updates under the guidance of project leads. 3. Client Interaction Participate in client meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather requirements. Document client needs, pain points, and process gaps. Support communication between project teams and stakeholders. 4. Strategy & Solution Development Help create recommendations for operational improvements, digital transformation, process optimization, or organizational change. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and solution design activities. Assist in mapping business processes and identifying improvement opportunities. 5. Reporting & Documentation Draft reports, presentations, and executive summaries. Maintain project documentation and version control. Support the creation of templates, frameworks, and knowledgebase materials. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, Finance, Engineering, or related fields. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic dataanalysis tools. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment. Detailoriented, organized, and eager to learn. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Internships or coursework in consulting, strategy, or business analysis. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP). Familiarity with financial modeling or process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Lucid chart).
