Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description for Landscape Maintenance Technician Perform all aspects of residential and small scale commercial landscape maintenance including mowing and edging grass, weeding planted areas, pruning of landscape trees and shrubs, mulching of landscaped areas, applying fertilizer to landscape plants, installation of trees, shrubs and other landscape plants, maintenance of water features ( fountains, decorative ponds / waterfalls, etc and maintenance of low voltage night lighting systems. General landscape clean up and seasonal leaf removal. Any and all other work related to landscape maintenance. Basics Skills Experience required in job description tasks Must be dependable Must be punctual Willingness to learn new skills Enjoy outdoor work in all weather conditions year-round 1-2 years experience preferred Must 21 years of age or older Must have a valid NC Drivers License with clean driving record Must be a good team member Opportunity for advancement Able to operate mowing and other equipment Landscape Maintenance Department Work HoursHours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Hours may be longer in the spring and fall seasons and will bedetermined on a weekly basis by the landscape operations manager Seasonal work on Saturdays as needed Daily Responsibilities Overview PunctualLoad equipment, tools and materials on company trucks and trailers Drive safely to job sites Unload and reload trucks and or trailers on job sites Follow directions from supervisor for each project Perform all phases of landscape installation work depending on the project Respectfully interact with customers as needed Pick up materials and supplies when directed Learn and exhibit safe, proper operation of power tools and equipment Assist with general housekeeping of the landscape operations areas at our office Complete and submit daily work report summary and receipts for fuel or supplies

Compensation: Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with an opportunity for advancement as skills are developed. All employees are paid hourly and are required to accurately maintain their time-card. Payroll is every two weeks. The time clock is located in the employee shop area. Lunch break is generally from 12-12:30pm. We recommend employees bring their lunch and drinks each day. Drive time to and from job sites is paid time. Any hours worked over (40) are paid at the overtime rate of time and a half.

Benefits: All benefits become effective after ninety days of continuous full- timeemployment. One week paid vacation (5 days) after one year of full-time employment. Two weeks paid vacation (10 days) after two years of full-time employment. Six paid holidays 401k Retirement Plan with company match.401k Profit Sharing Plan.
