First Section Pool TitlePOOL - Medical Sonography Instructor (Part-time) Pool NumberF6-24 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
Duties: Precept students in clinical settings. Instruct students in classroom and lab.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree from an accredited university with appropriate credential(s) specific to one or more of the following concentrations: abdominal sonography, cardiac sonography, obstetrics and gynecology sonography, and vascular sonography. Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered sonographer in the professional sonography field. Communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited university with appropriate credential(s) specific to one or more of the following concentrations: abdominal sonography, cardiac sonography, obstetrics and gynecology sonography, and vascular sonography.
- Minimum of five years of full-time clinical experience as a registered sonographer in the professional sonography field.
- Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. Online teaching experience.
- Documented experience in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.
