Accounts Receivable Accountant

Duration: Direct Hire

Pay: $25-$28/hour

Location: Chandler, AZ 85224

Reports to: Accounting Manager Setting: Hybrid after Training Seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to support high-volume accounts receivable for a multifamily/property management portfolio. This person will research resident balances, apply HAP payments, review leases and contracts, reconcile ledgers, and work closely with property teams and Housing Authorities to resolve discrepancies.

What You’ll Do: Apply payments and reconcile resident ledgers Research AR discrepancies and payment application issues Review leases/contracts for accurate resident charges Collaborate across teams to resolve accounting issues What We’re Looking For 2+ years of accounting or AR experience Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills Comfortable managing high-volume, deadline-driven work Property management/multifamily experience is a plus Yardi experience is a plus Excel and HUD/HAP knowledge preferred
