If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a SMS Implementation Architect to join our team in San Antonio, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).NTT DATA is looking for a Service Management System (SMS) Implementation Architect to support a critical global program to modernize the Department of Defense Health Agency's (DHA) Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.This will result in standardized, highly available and robust global IT infrastructure and enterprise services that span DHA from the end-user desktop through the data center while adhering to cost containment and operational efficiencies. The IT infrastructure and operations framework will support a global data communications network and enterprise services infrastructure, managing and governing a network of local and regional Integrated IT Service Providers (ISPs) and vendors.The managed service provider community is delivering data center, telecommunications and end-user platform capabilities supporting more than 1,200 healthcare delivery and support locations with over 150,000 military personnel.In this role you will work with the Government to oversee the design and adoption of the SMS implementation for the Enterprise Information Technology Services Integrator (EITSI) and ISPs, while ensuring standardization, interoperability and scalability of the global enterprise system. The SMS is an enterprise integrated platform providing ITBM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM and ITIM capabilities for DHA, composed of numerous IT performance monitoring and IT infrastructure management systems, both existing and emerging.In this role you may provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments by establishing goals and plans that meet program objectives. You will use your domain and expert technical knowledge to direct and control activities for a client, project and/or program, and may have overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing of the activities that you undertake to ensure that technical requirements are met.You will interact with client, project and/or program leadership to negotiate various positions. You will serve as an advisor to senior leadership regarding the technological aspects of the organization and provide technical expertise to assist senior leadership in shaping and achieving the organization's strategic vision, operational and tactical goals. You will evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short and long-term project growth and success.You will function as a programmatic expert across multiple project assignments and serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. You will plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage while monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. May supervise others.RequiredQualificationsEight (8) years of progressive experience in SMS Implementation. IAT III: ISC2 CISSP or equivalent (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED or GCIH)Computing Environment: Professional (expert preferred) level certification for supported technology as approved by the CORU.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearanceDemonstrated experience with Enterprise IT management approaches and ITIL-aligned methods including one or more ITBM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITIM, etc.)Demonstrated experience with Enterprise ServiceNow ToolsDesired QualificationsMaster's degreeTwo (2) years of additional experience along with a bachelor's degree will substitute for a master's degree.Demonstrated experience leading and managing in a large complex IT infrastructure operations and consolidation effort.Demonstrated experience with DoD/military health systems and programs, i.e. MHS, GENESIS, DHA, MTFs, DHMSMDemonstrated experience with DoD/DHA systems/programs/commands in generalDemonstrated experience with large IT infrastructure management and performance monitoring, large ITIL v3/ITSM programs, prefer ITIL v4 as well.Demonstrated experience with Enterprise ServiceNow, Splunk and HP Operations systems.
