By supporting our Trademark team with Preparing and filing documents required in the prosecution and maintenance of U.S. trademarks, using the U.S. PTO’s ETEAS filing system. Preparing and filing documents required in the prosecution and maintenance of Madrid-based filings with WIPO Communicating with clients regarding requirements for filing applications, maintaining trademarks, and reviewing evidence of use required in connection with these trademark documents Corresponding directly with foreign associates on routine trademark prosecution, opposition, cancellation, and/or maintenance Handling or assisting on special projects as assigned, including copyright applications, customs recordation, UDRP actions, client website review and domain name registration What Will You Bring to the Table? 3+ years’ experience as a Trademark Paralegal (or similar equivalent experience) with both U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution. Familiarity with TTAB proceedings, copyright filings and UDRP actions. Experience with worldwide trademark laws and procedures, including WIPO filings. Ability to meet the paralegal 1300 hour billing metric. Trained in conducting preliminary trademark searches. Ability to work in the office 3 days per month is required Why Fish? Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors including education, experience, skills, professional background, overall qualifications, and location In Chicago and Minneapolis, the estimated starting pay range is $34.87 - $43.58 per hour (based on a 37.5-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $68,000- $85,000 annually. In Boston and San Diego, the estimated starting pay range is $40.10 - $50.00 per hour (based on a 35-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $73,000 - $91,000 annually. In Washington, D.C., the estimated starting pay range is $40.00 - $49.74 per hour (based on a 37.5-hour workweek), which is equivalent to $78,000 - $97,000 annually.
