Company Description:
Rehab It Physical Therapy and Wellness is dedicated to helping individuals return to an active, pain-free lifestyle as quickly and safely as possible. The practice provides 60-minute, one-on-one sessions exclusively with licensed, award-winning physical therapists, never with aides. Highly recommended by physicians and the local community, Rehab It emphasizes personalized, concierge-level care over traditional high-volume clinic models. Patients consistently describe Rehab It as an exceptional, caring environment that delivers a truly individualized experience. The team works with a wide range of active individuals, from athletes to older adults, and focuses on meaningful functional improvements.
Role Description:
This is a part-time or full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based one of our two offices in Greenwich and Stamford, CT. The Physical Therapist will provide individualized, evidence-based evaluations and treatments, delivering full one-on-one sessions focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and improving overall mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and adjusting care plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, and educating patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies. The role also involves clear documentation of patient progress, close collaboration with referring physicians, and maintaining a supportive, patient-centered environment aligned with Rehab It’s concierge care model. Patient populations include sports/ortho, pelvic floor and pediatrics.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong foundations in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education, adherence support, and safe progression of home exercise programs.
Candidates should possess relevant Medicine knowledge to understand musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions and integrate evidence-based practice.
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (DPT or equivalent) and eligibility to practice in Connecticut.
Prior outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience is highly beneficial; concierge or one-on-one care experience is a plus.
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills, with a commitment to compassionate, inclusive, and culturally sensitive care.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and team members, while managing a part-time caseload with reliability and professionalism.
