Per-Diem Exercise Physiologists Join our team and make a difference at a great community based hospital, Montefiore New Rochelle. The hospital is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley. We have a fantastic opportunity for Per-Diem Exercise Physiologists to join our Cardiac Rehab team.
Position Summary:
Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision.
Job Duties Include:
Assess patients' fitness and health Design exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitness Maintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipment Prepare medical necessity reports Education and
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required. Masters Degree preferred. BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and ultimate complete of ACLS certificationACSM Certification a plus Prior experience in a similar role, new graduates will be considered Excellent communication skills.
