Founding Account Executive (Series A Cybersecurity Startup)

$200,000 Base + $200,000 Commission + EquityBuild the GTM Function from Day OneThis is a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated sales hire at one of the USA's most exciting cybersecurity startups. Having recently secured Series A funding, the business is entering its next phase of growth. Until now, every commercial opportunity has been founder-led. With a proven product, growing customer base and fresh investment, they're now looking for an Founding Account Executive to help build and scale the commercial function. Working directly with the founders, you'll own the full sales cycle, help shape the GTM strategy, build repeatable sales processes and play a key role in the company's long-term success.
What You'll Be Doing:
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
Partner directly with the founders on GTM strategy.
Build scalable sales processes and playbooks.
Win new enterprise customers.
Work closely with Product and Engineering to influence product direction through customer feedback.
What We're Looking For:
- This is a highly targeted search.
- You'll have experience as a Founding Account Executive or first dedicated sales hire within a B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity startup, with a proven track record of building pipeline and closing enterprise business from scratch.
- Required Track RecordYou must have either:
- Been the Founding Account Executive / first sales hire twice, generating $3M+ ARR annually in both businesses.
- ORBeen the Founding Account Executive / first sales hire once, generating $5M+ ARR.This requirement is non-negotiable, as the founders are looking for someone who has repeatedly demonstrated success building revenue from the earliest stages of company growth.
