About the role
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Applied AI Product Engineer will design and implement AI-powered features, develop software products using Claude Code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote Agile environment.
Key responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features to enhance patient engagement and operational efficiency
Utilize Claude Code and related tools to build, test, and maintain full-stack software products
Collaborate with product managers and clinical stakeholders to translate requirements into user-focused solutions
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 1-4 years of experience in software or product engineering
Proficiency in using Claude Code for software development, including debugging and feature implementation
Experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into applications through APIs and generative AI workflows
Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability
