What You'll Do: Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, including pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators Inspect machinery and equipment, identify irregularities or malfunctions, and troubleshoot mechanical issues Install, maintain, and repair power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts, including fabricating parts with lathes and grinders when needed Operate cranes, jacks, tractors, and other lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair work
