Ophthalmology Physician

Job Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Ophthalmology Setting: Correctional Healthcare Facility

Schedule: Up to one 8-hour day per month Additional shifts/hours may be available monthly

Clinical Responsibilities: Perform ophthalmologic surgical procedures including: Cataract surgery Glaucoma treatment Pterygium procedures Provide pre-operative and post-operative follow-up care Evaluate and manage ophthalmology patients in a correctional healthcare setting Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements: MD or DO required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology Active North Carolina medical license required Prior ophthalmic surgical experience preferred Ability to independently manage surgical and follow-up patient care
