Machine Learning Engineer

Overview As an ML/Research Engineer, you will help design and build the next-generation deep learning library used by 100+ researchers. You’ll blend open-source tools with internal modelling expertise to accelerate experimentation and improve training efficiency. You will collaborate with researchers and HPC engineers to optimize workflows and enable scalable experiments. This role offers opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge ML infrastructure in a fast-moving financial tech environment. Responsibilities Grow and maintain the internal deep learning library Collaborate with researchers to capture their needs and add new functionality Work with HPC experts to optimize large workflows and deliver faster training at lower cost Stay current with external innovations and make useful tools available internally Support scalable DL experiments and infrastructure improvements Key requirements 2+ years of experience in machine learning and software development Strong engineering skills in Python, CUDA, and C++Experience building distributed deep learning libraries or scaling large distributed DL workflows using PyTorch (or similar)collaborativestrong problem-solvingeffective communicator with researchers and engineers PythonCUDAC++
