Mental Health Practitioner - Martin CountyMake a meaningful impact at Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc. as a Mental Health Practitioner - Family & Parenting Support serving Martin County. This is a great opportunity for a master's-level mental health professional in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related helping field who wants to work directly with children and families. Florida clinical licensure or registered-intern status is not required. In this role, you will support caregivers of children and adolescents ages 0-18 through multiple levels of the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), an evidence-based program that strengthens parenting skills, family relationships, and confidence in managing behavioral and emotional challenges. You'll join a collaborative, mission-driven team committed to high-quality, community-centered mental health services while helping expand our programming and partnerships throughout Martin County. This Monday-Friday position involves providing services in person in homes, offices, and community settings throughout Martin County, as well as via telehealth. You will help caregivers develop practical strategies to address parenting challenges, strengthen family relationships, and support the social and emotional needs of their children. The role also includes maintaining program documentation, conducting community outreach and presentations, and developing relationships with local organizations and referral partners.
What We Offer:
Salary range is $52,000-$53,500 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off. CFS also offers flexible scheduling, professional development opportunities, training scholarships, employer-funded Triple P training and accreditation, and opportunities for career advancement.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related helping field. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Experience working with children, adolescents, caregivers, or families is preferred. Triple P accreditation is an asset but is not required; candidates must be willing to complete employer-funded training and accreditation. Strong communication, outreach, and relationship-building skills are important, along with the ability to work independently and travel throughout Martin County. If you have a master's degree in a helping profession and want to make a difference with children and families, we encourage you to apply-even if clinical licensure is not part of your career path. Become part of our mission-driven team and help expand access to evidence-based parenting support for children and families throughout Martin County. Apply today!
