About the role

Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our Minnesota National team. This role involves assisting golfers with tee times, merchandise sales, and general inquiries while ensuring the pro shop is well-maintained and organized. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a passion for golf or retail, and enjoys providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist golfers with check-in, tee time reservations, and general inquiries
Process transactions for green fees, merchandise, and golf equipment using a point-of-sale (POS) system
Maintain an organized and visually appealing pro shop, including stocking and restocking merchandise
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on golf apparel, accessories, and equipment
Answer phone calls, book tee times, and provide information on course policies and events
Assist with tournament registration and coordination as needed
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests
Follow all golf course policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience

Job Type: Seasonal or Year-Round (depending on location and availability)

Hours: Flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old (or meet legal working age requirements)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous retail or golf course experience is a plus but not required
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking
Basic knowledge of golf is preferred but not necessary
Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
