To recover funds for clients who have paid in error, the full-time Healthcare Reclamation Analyst will review client data and payer correspondence, investigate coverage eligibility, and communicate with healthcare insurance carriers, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Leverage knowledge in COB/TPL/Recovery to resolve discrepancies and determine proper order of benefits
Communicate effectively with carriers to address eligibility questions and facilitate successful payments
Analyze documentation and explanation of benefits to support internal teams and ensure compliance with regulations
Required qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in billing reclamation or a related role
At least 12 months of collections or receivable experience with high production results
Solid understanding of healthcare terminology, medical coding, and relevant processes
Experience with Coordination of Benefits, Third Party Liability, and Accounts Receivable
High School diploma or GED; relevant college courses or certification is a plus
