Direct Support Professional (DSP) – HCBS
Serenity, LLC | All 21 New Jersey Counties
Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Diem
$21.50–$26.50 per hour Serenity is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities:
- Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities
- Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping
- Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized
- Provide safe transportation
- Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals
- Complete timely service notes and required documentation
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GEDAt least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to pass required background checks and DDD screenings
- Smartphone or computer access for documentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Experience supporting individuals with I/DD is preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid training will be provided if needed.
