Job Description:
Job Description The Heavy Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of heavy machinery used on-site and at various field locations. Working within a small team and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this technician handles routine maintenance and emergency repairs to keep equipment operational and compliant with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues Conduct repairs and welding on equipment as needed Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all maintenance and repair activities Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns in the field Collaborate effectively within a small team environment Travel frequently to various field locations for maintenance and repairs
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair Technical diploma or associate degree in Heavy Equipment Technology or a related field
Preferred Qualifications: Valid driver's license
