To support the Outpatient Rehabilitation department, the full-time Outpatient Reimbursement Coordinator will manage payer communications, document authorization information, and monitor patient visits in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Communicate with payers via fax or telephone regarding authorization status
Document and review authorization information and chart documentation
Coordinate authorization updates with the therapy team and scheduling staffRequired qualificationsMinimum 1-year experience navigating insurance systems for coverage and authorization
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
