About the role

Overview As Program Associate for the Willowbrook Consumer Advisory Board, you will provide administrative and clinical supervision to CAB representatives and support the Executive Director. You will help recruit and train staff, oversee in-service training, and contribute to policy review and incident follow-up. The role involves substantial travel across the state and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to safeguard the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a hands-on leadership position with a focus on advocacy, governance, and program excellence. Compensation / Benefitshealth insurance optionsfamily dental and vision coveragepaid holidays (13 per year)paid vacation leave (13 days to start)paid sick leave (13 days)paid parental leave up to 12 weeks Responsibilities Supervise and mentor eight CAB representatives Provide coverage for the Executive Director Attend monthly and special CAB meetings Assist in staff recruitment and training Deliver ongoing in-service training to supervisees and CAB staff Review and comment on proposed policies/regulations Cover supervisees as needed Review and follow up on incident reports or rights violations Respond to CAB voicemail on a rotational schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) Key requirements Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Human Services/Special Educationat least 5 years of experience with people who have developmental disabilitiesat least 3 years of advocacy experienceavailability for statewide travelstrong oral and written communication skillsstrong communicationleadership and supervisioncoordination and collaborationproblem-solvingknowledge of the Willowbrook Permanent Injunctionfamiliarity with state and federal laws and regulations specific to I/DD services and rights
