Warehouse Selector Our client, a leading hospitality supply and distribution company, is seeking experienced Warehouse Selectors for a contract position at their distribution center in Lithia Springs, GA. This role involves order selection, palletizing, and dock staging in a fast-paced production environment. Multiple positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a double pallet jack and electric pallet jack to transport product throughout the facility
- Select correct products from warehouse racking, including floor and upper-level locations
- Palletize product as orders are built and secure pallets to prevent tipping or damage
- Apply product labeling using SOS label technology (SOS unit operation)
- Stretch-wrap finished product on the loading dock and stage for shipment
- Perform dock staging and loading activities safely and efficiently
- Complete pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
- Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly; team lifts required for loads exceeding 50 lbs
- Complete additional warehouse tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of double pallet jack operation experience (required)
- Experience with electric pallet jack operation
- Experience picking orders from warehouse racking, including floor locations
- Ability to work in a production environment with a strong sense of urgency
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform team lifts for heavier loads
Preferred Qualifications:
- High reach equipment experience
- Experience with palletizing, building, and securing pallets
- Familiarity with SOS label technology and stretch-wrapping operations
- Prior experience with dock staging, loading, and equipment inspections
About the Role
Contract duration: approximately 1,840 total hours (long-term contract assignment)
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
Location: Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Travel: None required
Compensation: Competitive rate
