About the role

Role: Fortinet Firewall Specialist / Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: Secaucus, NJ(Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time OnlyKey Requirements

Expert-level experience with FortiManager and FortiGate. Design and manage Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) deployments. Strong experience with Fortinet Security Fabric, Secure SD-WAN, and centralized firewall management. Deploy and support HA clusters, VDOMs, multi-tenant environments, and ADVPN.Experience with FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and Forti Analyzer. Implement ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) and micro-segmentation strategies. Advanced networking knowledge: BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs, routing, switching, and SD-WAN.Automation skills using Python, Jinja2, Ansible, or FortiManager scripting. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.

Additional Responsibilities: Lead security and network projects. Perform vulnerability assessments. Act as Tier-3 escalation support. Mentor junior engineers and establish operational standards/documentation.
