About the role

Our client, a global leader in piping, valve, fitting, and fluid distribution solutions, is expanding its strategic marketing organization and is seeking two Strategic Marketing Managers to support two of its fastest-growing verticals: Healthcare Data Centers These highly visible roles sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and customers. Whether focused on Healthcare or Data Centers, you will serve as the market expert responsible for driving growth, increasing specification influence, strengthening customer relationships, and developing go-to-market strategies that expand market share. The structure and responsibilities are similar between both positions, but candidates should bring expertise in either the Healthcare ecosystem or the Data Center ecosystem.
What You'll Do: Lead go-to-market strategy for a high-growth vertical market. Develop and refine market-specific value propositions. Prioritize strategic accounts, regions, partners, and opportunities. Identify market trends, technologies, regulations, and competitive activity influencing customer decisions. Build relationships with owners, developers, engineers, architects, contractors, distributors, and other key stakeholders. Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) sessions to uncover customer needs, challenges, and innovation opportunities. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, customer visits, and technical discussions. Support early-stage project discussions and provide market expertise to improve project win rates. Equip sales teams and rep agencies with vertical-specific tools, presentations, account strategies, and competitive positioning. Train internal teams on market personas, terminology, buying dynamics, and industry trends. Contribute to case studies, white papers, design guides, customer success stories, and industry-focused content. Partner with Product Management and Engineering to align solutions with evolving market requirements. Identify product gaps, emerging opportunities, and future development initiatives. Track KPIs including pipeline growth, specification wins, customer engagement, and market penetration. Deliver regular insights and reporting to Sales, Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership. This person will be dedicated to the company’s Data Center/Healthcare vertical. Responsibilities will include; Lead the go-to-market strategy for a high-growth data center/healthcare vertical, building on a strong foundation to accelerate market expansion and market share. Identify trends, regulations, technologies, reimbursement drivers, construction activity, and competitive influences shaping the market. Build relationships with facility leaders, directors of facilities, plant operations leaders, construction managers, specifying engineers, architects, mechanical contractors, distributors, and executives across the ecosystem. Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) sessions to uncover customer needs, operational challenges, facility priorities, project drivers, and innovation opportunities. Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, conferences, customer visits, association meetings, and technical discussions. Support early-stage project conversations with an understanding of mechanical systems, domestic water systems, HVAC infrastructure, renovation constraints, infection prevention considerations, resiliency requirements, and facility uptime expectations. Equip Sales teams and rep agencies with presentations, positioning strategies, stakeholder maps, account development resources, and objection-handling guidance. Provide project-level insight and expertise to improve win rates, specification influence, and customer confidence. Train internal teams on personas, terminology, market structure, purchasing dynamics, stakeholder priorities, and facility design and operational considerations. Participate in customer-facing opportunities as the market subject matter expert. Collaborate with Strategic Marketing leadership to maintain the Vertical Playbook, including personas, messaging, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and asset development roadmaps. Contribute to case studies, white papers, industry articles, design guides, landing pages, customer success stories, and industry-focused content. Ensure alignment between messaging, campaigns, technical solutions, and customer needs. Support development of competitive battlecards and market comparison tools specific to construction and facility infrastructure projects. Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to ensure products, including press systems, balancing valves, grooved systems, butterfly valves, and related piping solutions, are aligned with market requirements. Identify product gaps, market opportunities, emerging needs, and future development initiatives related to infrastructure and building systems. Support pilot projects and market validation activities for new solutions. Provide insight to help shape the long-term market product roadmap. Partner with Strategic Marketing leadership and CRM stakeholders to improve visibility into opportunities, market trends, customer activity, and project pipelines. Track KPIs such as pipeline growth, specification success, project wins, customer engagement, account development, and market penetration. Deliver regular reporting and insights to Sales, Product, Marketing, and Executive leadership. Complete additional duties as assigned.
