Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care (RN)Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)Floating Required: YesScrub Color: Navy BlueUnit SpecificsCommon Diagnoses: Neurological, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD, DKA, Sepsis, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiovascular stepdown, post-operative care)Specialty Equipment: Temporary pacemaker, Chest tubes, Arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune VapoVentilator Use: Yes (Chronic ventilators, unable to wean - Respiratory Therapy assistance required)Patient Demographics: Adults (18 years and older)Number of Beds: 64 beds (15 designated for Neurology)QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit (IMCU/PCU)Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSSValid driver's license with a matching addressNURSYS Report for license verification with an active New York State RN license and all RN licenses
