PICU Registered Nurse

Wise Medical Staffing seeks an experienced PICU Nurse to provide high-acuity care to critically ill pediatric patients on travel or contract assignments. In this role, you’ll manage complex ventilator and hemodynamic support, titrate critical drips, and collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care. You’ll support and educate families, maintain precise EMR documentation, and adapt quickly to new hospital settings. Deliver direct bedside care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU. Monitor and interpret vital signs, ventilator settings, and hemodynamic status. Administer medications, infusions, and blood products safely and accurately. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans. Educate and support families through complex and emotionally challenging situations. Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and follow hospital protocols. Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards. Adapt quickly to new PICU environments, workflows, and teams on each assignment.
