Job Description:
Wilson Building & Development, Inc is a growing site and underground utility contractor looking for an experienced Superintendent/Foreman to lead crews on commercial projects across [South Florida / your area]. If you know how to run a crew, read a set of plans, and keep a job moving safely and on schedule, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do:
Run day-to-day field operations for water, sewer, storm drainage, and force main installations Lead and schedule crews, operators, and subcontractors Read and interpret civil plans, profiles, and grade sheets Coordinate with GCs, inspectors, engineers, and utility authorities Manage trench safety, shoring, and OSHA compliance on site Track production, materials, and daily reports Handle tie-ins, testing (pressure, bacteriological, mandrel, TV), and punch lists through closeout What we're looking for 5+ years in underground utilities, with at least 2 years leading crews Strong plan reading and layout skills (grade checking, laser, GPS a plus)Knowledge of FDOT and local utility standardsOSHA 30 and Competent Person (Excavation/Trench) certification preferred Experience running excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment is a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
