Special Education Teacher - Chilton, WI

About the Role: As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work closely with students, families, general education teachers, related service providers, and school teams to provide individualized instruction and support based on each student's IEP. You'll play an important role in helping students develop academically, socially, and functionally while ensuring that their individual learning needs are being met.

Schedule: Full-time - In-person / on-site in Chilton, Wisconsin - Monday–Friday school schedule - Start as soon as possible - 2026–2027 school year - Opportunity for continued placement based on performance and school needs

What You'll Do: Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction - Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies based on individual student needs - Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation - Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings - Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school administrators - Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress - Support students with academic, behavioral, social, and functional goals - Maintain required special education documentation and compliance records - Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
