Job DescriptionJob Title: Overhaul Business ManagerWorking Pattern: OnsiteWorking Location: San Antonio, TexasA leadership position within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Mature Engines organization has opened. As the Overhaul Business Manager, you will be aligned to a MRO supplier management team and primarily focused on the business relationship between the Mature Engines organization and our MRO service provider. It is a key interface point for the broader, Mature Engines organization and will interface with the executive leadership team of our MRO service provider as the embedded manager. You will plan and coordinate many different kinds of operational activities in a diverse technical environment. They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.Basic Requirements:Associate degree with 7+ years of MRO Operations and/or gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures experience, ORBachelor's degree with 5+ years MRO Operations and/or gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures experience, ORMaster's degree with 3+ years MRO Operations and/or gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures experience, ORJD/PhD, OR9+ years of MRO Operations and/or gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures experience in lieu of a degreeIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent ResidentPreferred Requirements:Familiarity with airworthiness regulationsPrioritize, work independently or in a team environment with a strong customer focusDevelop and maintain relationships with shop personnel and customersUnderstand and communicate technical details and solve complex technical issuesCreate and solve ambiguous situations and demonstrate strategic ability, problem solving, and decision makingExperience working with multiple business functions, both technical and non-technicalFAA Airframe and Powerplant licenseWhat we offer:We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits.
