Senior Staff Accountant Company: Growing Technology & Manufacturing Organization

A growing, innovative organization is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. The position offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions within a dynamic, technology-driven environment. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Assist with revenue recognition, accruals, inventory-related accounting, and other general ledger activities. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls. Prepare audit support schedules and assist with external audit requests. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within accounting workflows. Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting initiatives as the company continues to grow. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.~5+ years of accounting experience.~ Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.~ Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.~ Advanced Excel skills and experience working within an ERP environment.~ ERP experience, particularly with cloud-based accounting systems.~ Track record of driving process improvements and implementing efficiencies.~ Broad exposure across multiple areas of accounting and finance.
