Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a PRN RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will provide critical care to patients with cardiac conditions, directly supporting our mission to enhance patient outcomes. This role involves using advanced medical equipment and collaborating with a team of skilled healthcare professionals to deliver specialized cardiac interventions. Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and provide updates to the attending physician. Assist in the insertion of pacemakers, stents, and other cardiac devices. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and cardiovascular health maintenance. Strong clinical skills in a cardiac care setting Proficiency in using cardiac monitoring and diagnostic equipment Ability to react effectively under pressure and make quick decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in cardiovascular nursing (CVN) preferred
