Project Architect

Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design process to meet client needs and project goals. Develop detailed construction documents using AutoCad and other software. Manage project schedules and budgets while coordinating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Develop construction documents with a solid understanding of wall sections, structural systems, code restrictions and municipal guidelines. Collaborate with interior designers to integrate aesthetic elements into architectural designs. Employ advanced modeling techniques using SketchUp. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements throughout the project. Provide mentorship to junior architects and interns in drafting techniques and design principles.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Professional licensure as an architect is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite Strong understanding of construction management principles including contracts, renovation processes, budgeting, and construction estimating. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively within tight deadlines. Demonstrated experience in project scheduling and negotiation skills is highly desirable. Familiarity with interior design concepts is a plus. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
