About the role

Description:
  • SSPP is in immediate need of additional Extended Care employees for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • This role requires a commitment through May 2026, with the possibility of extending into the 2026-2027 school year.
  • This program runs between 2:00-6:00 PM. Available mornings for right candidate.$15.00-$17.50 per hour starting pay.

Before/After School (Extended Care Duties):Supervise students in the extended care program during designated hours. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate games, activities, and quiet time. Ensure student safety and adherence to school behavioral expectations. Maintain accurate attendance and incident records as required. Communicate effectively with parents during pick-up and drop-off.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or experience in childcare/education preferred.
  • Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Demonstrated patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with school staff.
  • Must pass a background check and meet all state and diocesan requirements for working with children.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).Working Conditions
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Requires the ability to lift to 25 lbs.
  • May require outdoor supervision in various weather conditions.
